Why I switched from a home.blog domain to a wordpress.com domain

I switched from a home.blog domain to a wordpress.com domain (which I wanted in the first place) because it was causing problems for users on iPhone in staying logged in while accessing the site when browsing in Private Mode, and if one made a typo in the URL with the home.blog domain it would send you to the generic home.blog page, while if you make a typo in the URL with the wordpress.com domain it will correct it for you and ask if you want to be redirected to the correct address.

Of course I’ve made this change on my main site.
